Sun Fook Kong Wins Awards at the“Quality Public Housing Construction and Maintenance Awards 2019” Awards Presentation Ceremony
(Hong Kong, 30 November 2019) Sun Fook Kong was honored to receive 5 awards at the “Quality Public Housing Construction and Maintenance Awards 2019” which was held on 30 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Awards Presentation Ceremony was organized by the Hong Kong Housing Authority (“HKHA”) together with industry organizations which formed a judging panels in order to assess nominees’ performances over the past two years based on the criteria of work quality, workmanship, environmental protection, occupational safety and health, ethical integrity, partnership and customer service.
Sun Fook Kong won 5 awards in total including:

- New Works Projects – Best Site Safety – Timely Report of Near Miss Incident (Building)
- New Works Projects – Best Site Safety – Safety Innovation
- New Works Projects – Outstanding Contractors - The Innovative Use of BIM Technology (Main Contractor) – Highly Commended
- New Works Projects – Outstanding Workers
In future, Sun Fook Kong will keep enhancing our work by applying innovative and creative technologies and maintaining our high workmanship and safety standards, so as to continue to improve our performance in construction and maintenance of public housing.
Mr. Hilman Yung, the Group’s Executive Director and Mr. Max Shum, Operation Director received the New Works Projects – Outstanding Contractors (Building) – Bronze Award at the Awards Presentation Ceremony.
