03 Jul, 2021 Sun Fook Kong Participates in a Volunteer Activity- “Water World in Summer”
(Hong Kong, 3 July) On 3 July, Sun Fook Kong co-organized a volunteer activity, “Water World in Summer”, with SAHK. Through the participation in the water play activities, the volunteers and the children with special needs had a chance to interact and communicate with each other and thereby building a spirit of disability inclusion and broadening their views in life as an effort of advocating a harmonious community.
Sun Fook Kong’s volunteers spent a wonderful day with more than a dozens of children with special needs between the ages of 5 and 11 at Parent’s Resource Centre of SAHK in Shek Wai Kok and completed a number of water-themed tasks together. The tasks included “Floating Water Paintings”, “Water Bombs” and “Rainbow Umbrellas”. The volunteering activities were very exciting and the volunteers and the children had a lot of fun. It was meaningful and full of joy and laughter. In future, Sun Fook Kong will continue organizing various community service activities to actively contribute back to the society.
