Sun Fook Kong Won Two Awards in Construction Sites Housekeeping Award Scheme 2012arrow

(Hong Kong, 13 March 2013) To encourage its contractors, site supervisory team and consultants to improve site cleanliness and tidiness, Drainage Services Department had organized the Construction Sites Housekeeping Award Scheme 2012. The Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 13 March 2012 and two Sun Fook Kong’s projects were awarded respectively the Best Construction Sites Housekeeping Award and Meritorious Award.

During the Award Presentation Ceremony, “DC/2009/01 – Building and Civil Maintenance and Minor Works to DSD Plants and Facilities (2009-2012)” of Sun Fook Kong (Civil) Limited had gained the Best Construction Sites Housekeeping Award, while “DC/2009/10 – Harbour Area Treatment Scheme Stage 2A – Upgrading Works at Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works – Main Pumping Station, Sedimentation Tanks and Ancillary Facilities” of Sun Fook Kong Joint Venture had gain the Meritorious Award.

The competition assessment was conducted by the senior management of Drainage Services Department, and the winners were selected based on their site cleanliness and tidiness, hygiene conditions, mosquito prevention, environmental protection and transportation management etc.

Sun Fook Kong strives to maintain all construction sites in good condition and to monitor and reduce environmental impacts. Being a responsible company, the Group will continue to display a high standard of site cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene, so as to protect the health and safety of workers and citizens.
