(Hong Kong, 10 November 2014) Sun Fook Kong was once again awarded the “Hong Kong Star Brands Award 2014 – Enterprise Award” in recognition of its outstanding performance in business development, service quality and corporate social responsibility. 

Hong Kong Star Brands Award 2014 was organized by Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association while Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Hong Kong Productivity Council were the co-organizers. Moreover, there were more than 30 supporting organizations for the event. The assessment criteria of the award were set according to the draft of China’s 12th Five-Year Plan, which include: strong business foundation, high quality product and service, good social reputation and brand image, and potential of sustainable development. 

Other than the members of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR, the officiating guests of the ceremony also including Mr. Tsang Yok Sing, GBS, JP, President of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, Mr. Lam Woon Kwong, GBS, JP, Convenor of the Non-Official Members of the Executive Council of Hong Kong, and Mr. So Kam Leung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of Hong Kong. 

During the ceremony, there were total 17 winners received the “Enterprise Award” while 13 winners received the “Small and Medium Enterprise Award”. Except Sun Fook Kong, other winners included CLP Group, The Hong Kong Electic Company Limited, Airport Authority Hong Kong, Luk Fook Group and German Pool etc.
