Sun Fook Kong Wins the Green Contractor (Term Contract) Awardarrow

(Hong Kong, 26 March 2012) Sun Fook Kong Construction Limited has recently won the Green Contractor (Term Contract) Award from the Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) for its outstanding environmental performance on the Maintenance Term Contract for Hong Kong Island Western, Southern & Lantau Island and Maintenance Term Contract for Tuen Mun and Yuen Long projects.

The Government has been encouraging the construction sector, and all private organizations, to improve their environmental performance. In line with the Government’s initiatives, Sun Fook Kong Group develop green initiatives to improve environmental protection work. SFK Group continuously introduces innovative techniques and measures in water quality control, air pollution control and environmental monitoring and actively adopted green innovative designs for the conservation of the environment. From planning, designing to building, SFK Group plans in every single detail which aims at conforming to environmental protection standard and pursuing sustainability in its operations. Other than practices applied at sites, SFK group actively engages in raising the community and employee awareness of environmental protection, and conducts a variety of campaigns to promote a green lifestyle, including green talks and collecting recyclable materials.
