In addition to focusing on diversified businesses, Sun Fook Kong Group (Parent Company of Sun Fook Kong Construction Group) endeavors to contribute to the community in different ways. In order to raise the awareness and importance of young people and citizens of Hong Kong in developing their writing interest and their "filial piety" to the Chinese nation, the Group sponsors and fully supports “Love Is All Around” The 1^st Hong Kong Chinese & English Essay-Writing Competition which is organized by Hong Kong Federation of Journalists.
 
The Chinese saying goes, ‘Xiao is the most important of all virtues’ Filial love and respect for one’s parents, elders, and the elderly in general is the fundamental bedrock of traditional Chinese morality. It was and continues to be the most basic principle governing Chinese society. The virtue of Xiao also encapsulates a deeper significance, exerting a profound and fascinating influence on the individual, the family, society, the nation, and even the whole world. The theme of this competition is “filial piety”. The organizer hopes to raise awareness of Chinese tradition through the competition.
 
The essay-writing competition is divided into three Chinese and English divisions from primary school, secondary school and open section. Each division includes one winner in champion, second place, third place and 10 merits prizes. In addition to providing the certificate, they also provide award money.
