“SUN FOOK KONG SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL AWARDS SCHEME 2018” OFFICIALLY LAUNCHEDarrow
(Hong Kong, 20 January 2018) Sun Fook Kong held the opening ceremony of “Sun Fook Kong Safety & Environmental Awards Scheme 2018” at the Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin on 20 January. Over 260 staff from Sun Fook Kong Project Management, Safety Department, Environment Department and subcontractors attended the event.
 
Mr. Patrick Lee, Managing Director of Construction said during his opening speech, “Sun Fook Kong concerns about safety and environmental friendly. We have been keep promoting on-site safety and reducing the impact to the environment to all our workers. This year, a “Sun Fook Kong Safety and Environmental Charter” aims to indicates a form of voluntary partnership agreement among Sun Fook Kong and related subcontractors to join hands cooperatively achieving the common goal of developing a safe, heathy and environmental-friendly on construction sites.
 
The vision of the Charter is “Zero Accident, Purified Environment”. Following the opening ceremony of “Sun Fook Kong Safety & Environmental Awards Scheme 2018”, more than 30 awards were presented including Project Environmental Performance Award which encourages sites to improve the performance in environment. Also, the Environmental Slogan Creation Competition raised awareness of being environmental friendly and encouraged to be creative among the workers. The winning slogan was used in all sites in order to remind all of our staff and workers to create a “Zero Accident, Purified Environment” working environment.  
 
Sun Fook Kong will continue targeting “Zero Accident, Purified Environment” in the coming years, and also striving to strengthen the sensibility of being safe among the workers as well as to improve their working environment while we try the best to reduce the impact towards the environment.
