(Hong Kong, 27 Feb 2018) One of the Chinese traditions is to give red pocket money in Chinese Lunar New Year. However, there are many red pockets being thrown away every year. Therefore, Greeners Action holds the “Red Pockets Reuse Action” each year to remind people of being environmental friendly, not alone having a great time during Chinese Lunar New Year. This was the first time for Sun Fook Kong to support the meaningful action and attend the kick-off ceremony on 27 Feb.
 
 
The purpose of the action is to encourage companies using simple design and reduce the number of red pockets, and to urge people recycling and reusing “new born red pocket”. Mr Wong Kam-sing, GBS, JP, Secretary for the Environment also encouraged people wasting less resources, starting from using less red pockets in Chinese Lunar New Year.
 
Sun Fook Kong will continue to support all kinds of environmental activities held by different organizations in order to increase the awareness of our staff.
