(Hong Kong, 12 June 2018)Sun Fook Kong participated in a blood donation event organized by the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service on 12 June. 13 Sun Fook Kong employees actively supported the event.
 
Nurses from the Red Cross collected blood from our staff after the pre-donation health screening. Following the ten-minute donation employees received refreshments to the replenish the fluid lost and took rest for a while.
 
Blood donation is a meaningful event. It can help extend life of many patients with chronic diseases or in need of surgery because of illness or accident. The participation in the blood donation event may also cultivate an attitude of kindness and empathy in employees and encourage them to contribute to the society through these social welfare events.
